Sharing the final exterior renders for a residential complex in Jerusalem, created for developer Jaime Nusbaum in collaboration with architect Miriam Shira.
We started the design and modeling in Revit and Rhino, then brought the project into D5 Render and Unreal Engine for a full project review to develop the materials, lighting, and camera views. After several rounds of revisions, we’ve reached a result we’re pretty happy with.
A big focus was getting the Jerusalem limestone to feel convincing: the stone coursing, joint depth and subtle tonal variation, and how they catch the local light. The project took us from early massing studies through to the final client-approved exterior imagery.
The cars are tending to drive in the middle of the road on both streets
There’s a strange jog in the sidewalk here
Image #2 – this image looks more like a still grab from a Wes Anderson stop-motion film – which is very cool, but assuming not the intent.
Image #3 Living Room – I’d like to see a figure moving through the background in the Int Living Room image – maybe turning into the hallway back there. And possibly a woman looking out the mid-ground glass doors, as she’d be obscured by the reflections in the FG glass.
More detailed stuff for #3:
The return on the waterfall counter seems like it has the shadow of a window’s horizontal mullion when there’s only full-panel glass.
Generally if you’re advertising a large apartment complex, you should add as much life as possible to all public and private places to show your future customers that these are , in fact, livable and enjoyable spaces.
