Items 'linked' to wrong layer?

Can someone explain why my objects in one layers, also disappear when I toggle another layer to shown or hide? See video

Can someone explain why my objects in one layers, also disappear when I toggle another layer to shown or hide?

All extrusions are on the “statief” layer.
3 of the block instances are on the “statief” layer, the other three instances are on the “statief1” layer.

Turning off the “statief” layer will hide everything, because all geometry is on that layer. Turning of the “statief1” layer will only hide the 3 block instances that are on that layer.
