Issues with Sweeping a Joinery Detail section Aligned to Facade Surface

There are 2 pain points I’m facing in Achieving a clean sweep over a facade panel for Joinery:

1. The section is not aligned with the surface while sweeping it. As shown in Image below.
   
   
2. I’m not able to get a sharp sweep at corners but instead it’s taking a Curved Turn, I guess it’s because I’m using a Nurbs curve . I tried using a kinky curve to maintain the sharp edge but it threw error.
