It is using Rhino Inside to grab the geometry but that doesn’t seem like it matters.
also baking then making 2d caused a crash

Please post the output of the Rhino SystemInfo command.
I see that you write “making 2D in RiR” in the crash reporter. Does that mean that it will only crash when you are running Rhino in Revit?
I looked for your crash report in our system but don’t see anything from your eMail address. When that crash reporter pops up, please always send that in and make sure to add you eMail address. The developers most often want to contact the user for additional information, and when there is no eMail address, the report becomes a whole lot less useful.
