Issue with Grasshopper Script in Rhino 8

Hi all,

I have this grasshopper script which I have inherited, not created. It used to work in rhino 8, and all of a sudden it has stopped working. I was hoping someone with more knowledge might be able to help me. The script works fine in Rhino 7, but it is much much slower to navigate geometry using Rhino 7 I find. I am on Mac.
