today seen in the waste basket at my computer? Could the files not be complete removed by Rhino instead moved to the waste basket?

You can set the maximum size for the recycle bin in Windows so it never exhausts your disk space. When it is full the oldest stuff gets deleted to make way for new stuff.
Set and forget!

For the McNeel team – could the data transfer not be skipped and the files complete deleted?
I think the idea was people were always complaining that they couldn’t find the Autosave files. So they stopped automatically deleting them and put them in the trash instead.
Ah, ok, so it’s a kind of backup for a while. Good to know. So it makes sense to set a limit for the recycle bin.
