Hi,
a few days ago i got Rhino 8 for Windows and I like the new possibilities for customizing toolbars. But i stumbled over some flaw worth mentioning in hope to trigger some fix for users having the same issue.
I managed to auto-hide the right container when working in the viewports. So only the symbols (layers, materials etc.) remain after clicking into the viewport or moving the mousepointer out of the right container. In other words, when i click on a symbol (toothpaste for material), the right container extend to full size. That’s comfortable when working mobile and not having a big display.
But when I open a dialog, for instance the dialog to load a material via the filesystem, also the filesystem dialog will close when moving the mouse pointer onto it for selecting a file. That’s because i moved the mouse pointer out of the right container to select a file thou.
So in short, when the mousepointer leave the right container, not only the right container collapse as intended, also all dialoges will close before one is able to interact with them.
Hi -
Thanks for reporting.
I haven’t tested all possibly panels but it seems like this works correctly for at least some of them.
