the component is doing the job, branch X pluged in T is treated with branch X from R, but
item 0 from T is treated by item 0 from R
item 1 from T is treated by item 1 from R
item 2 from T is treated by item 1 from R
item 3 from T is treated by item 1 from R
…
item i from T is treated by item Max(i, R.Count-1) from R
