Hi maybe it is features but useflexibility. SplitKinkyFaces components before deBrep

It is a bug. When extrusions were added as a geometry type the existing components which were not aware of that type were not amended, and they now all think they’re dealing with old-fashioned regular surfaces. This bug is already in the system, logged here.
