I have a ceiling coffer beam and a wall element that are on the same plane and join. I want to show that this is seamless but I can’t without joining via bollean union and mergeallfaces… and I need to keep these two elements as separate layers so I can’t join them. I know sketchup has an option to hide such lines. Do we?
Hello - In the viewport? You can turn off surface edges… but this is global for the display mode.

Yes that unfortunately turns off all edges and lines. Ideally I’d like to set it so that edges of two objects that are on the same plane automatically get hidden.
Is there any way to request this as an update to the view setting options?
