Intersect surfaces to solid

I want to create a solid that is surrounded by 5 surfaces.

To be clear, the Rhino file shows the desired result but is otherwise unnecessary.

I’ve never noticed it either but it’s in R7 (‘Intersect | Shape | Boundary Volume’).
