Is it possible to add interactible elements to model inside an iframe such as selecting and moving meshes by injecting js scripts?
If not, would it be possible to mimic this behaviour by using the frontend API?

The API is not available through the iframe, but if you have access to direct embedding with your account (Designer Plus or Business), you can use it to create this type of interactions. Read more about this feature here:
