rhino 7 can import autodesk .pat files.

Hatch for Rhino please!?

Hello everyone. I wonder if some of you know about HATCH like Autocad for Rhino? I need some Batting Hatch for insulation representation… I have read somewhere that it is possible to import HATCH.PAT into Rhino Options… but the fact is when i do it, the hatch scale wont fit properly inside walls for example. U give me some info/help please? Best regards António André

Is there a way to make a dwg/dxf file into a hatch on rhino?

my guess - there is not a simple file-import / file-export or conversion approach. for sure easiest is to search the web for existing, similar patterns. “autocad pat hatch” directly do an image - search. that is also my recommendation. .pat files are simple text files. you can use any text editor to design your own pattern. here is the documentation:
