My laptop ssd disk is running short and I wanted to install v6 WIP on it. I was wondering, if It would be possible to install it without having to install V5 first. Of course, I have a valid V5 serial number and a WIP one.

Have you tried?
The regular installation process for Rhino doesn’t require a previous version to be installed - I would be a bit surprised if they wrote an installation process for the WIP process. Then again, who knows? 
I would just give it a shot…
Could you please post your findings, I’d love to know if it is possible.
