I have the inspectors sidebar with two sections: layers and object properties (layers on top). This reverts back to 2 object properties - I have to manually change the top section to ‘layers’ every time I open Rhino. I’d like to have ‘layers’ stick between sessions - as in V5.

Is this also the case if you change your Preferences>Themes to have 3 sidebars?

If I have 3 sections I’ll have 3 object properties the next time, so that doesn’t help. I also don’t need 3 sections - 2 is enough for me.

Mine does not act like yours.
I have Properties on top and Layers below it.
Did you install Rhino V5.5 SRC?
That’s required so they can share Preferences.

I suppose it could be something buggered in your plist.
If it were me, I’d try that first.

I have the same issue. Could you share a file path for where it would be located? @John_Brock
thanks

Sorry, no. I do not know.
Maybe @dan does.

This is a bug in how Mac V6 saves the inspector side bar sections between sessions. I’m looking into it.
