Inset Rhinocommon

Hello,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to make an inset through Rhinocommon to a brepface or a surface?

Can you be more specific or provide an example? I’m not sure I understand why you’re looking at the face separately from the Brep and exactly what you mean by inset.

BrepFace has
BrepFace.DuplicateFace method (rhino3d.com)

which returns a full Brep corresponding to that face at which point you could boolean a subtraction.

Hi,

I mean to “make” an Inset directly from Rhinocommon, I guess it’s a combination of DupEdge and offset on surface, but it would be great if it can be accesed directly to a single function.

RH-78601 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 8 Release Candidate 1. Please try it out.
