The Insert edge command defaults back to loop even if you change it to ring. It used to stay at ring until you changed it back to loop, if needed. Please fix this. The selection process in V7 is tedious enough without having to keep changing dialog boxes back to where you need them. It used to stay where you put it until this last build.
On the Insert edge icon, LMB - loop, RMB - ring

Of course, but it doesn’t stick. You have to change it to ring between procedures.
