Incomplete intersection

The intersection between these 2 objects is incomplete:

Naturally trimming and booling doesn’t work then.

Also it depends in which order I select the 2 objects, the incompleteness is different.

You probably know how to fix, but in case others find this:

  1. Run Intersect
  2. Select the resulting curve.
  3. _Cplane _Object (or use the AutoCplane function in Rhino 8)
  4. Draw a plane, and use that to trim both objects
