In the layer list can I set only the Layer tab to be on and open at start up

Can I set Rhino to open my interface with with just the layer tab? open and the other tabs hidden. In the tool bar labeled Rhinoceros?

Right now every time I open a file, even after I have saved it with the layer box open (toolbar Rhinoceros), and I have clicked on the gear at the top of the layer box to not see any tabs but the layers tab.

So that my file is saved with just the layers tab showing and the layer list is open.

When I open that file or any file ,The layer tab is closed, no layer list showing, and also there are also the Properties,Help,and Display tabs that I turned off previously.

Cant Rhino V5 remember How I want my interface set up. This is another issue I dont recall having in V4

Hi Lisa - the general Rhino UI is independent of any particular file - if, when you get done working and close the last Rhino, only Layers is open, then that is how Rhino should open the next morning - are you finding that not to be the case?

Thanks for the reply Pascal, OK so maybe I am going nuts, yes Its working like that:

But I swore I had a moment there where it was not doing that ,that is why I posted. Oh well.
