If I have this structure with tan cladding and reddish framework in the perspective viewport:
and zoom out, the internal framework becomes visible through the cladding (opacity is set to max):
Ortho views do not exhibit this problem.

This is a hard to fix issue. You might get some sort of improvement trying out a different zbias (TestZBiasFactor), but in my experience, there isn’t really a way to get it right all the time. The best work around this issue is a second model for displaying with thicker cladding, or simply hiding the internals.
