Importing solidworks parts

I’m having mixed luck importing solidworks parts. Some work and some don’t. Is Rhino limited to a superseded version of solidworks part files?

Rhino V5 (Windows and Mac) can open SolidWorks 2012 part and assembly files.
What version of SolidWorks did your files come from?

No idea. I’ve been grabbing them off the GrabCad site. It’s a crapshoot.

If you can’t control it, then see if you can get STEP files instead.
