Importing mcx files to Rhino

Hey all,

I have searched on a couple of forum sites and cannot seem to find an answer. Is there a plugin, or some other way, to import MasterCAM files (I believe they are .mcx files) into Rhino directly? We currently use Rhino for designing and MasterCAM X9 for parts programming.

We are currently saving the MasterCAM files as a .dwg file type in order to import them into Rhino. Which works, I was just hoping to remove that step and reduce some of our file clutter.

Hi Josh - none that I know of - you might check with Mastercam though- they could, I think, fairly easily write out 3dm if they wanted to do that.
