Importing DWG or DXF v6, "new be"

i try to import floor plans into rhino 6 the layers showed up but no lines.
i export the drawing from arris 9.4 to dwg.

Any suggestions

So attached is my dwg file exported out of arris 9.4 with a translator 7.7 Expert InfoCAD DWG/DXF Translator.

I tried to import it once I open Rhino v6,

Hi Gregory - that seems to work fine in Rhino 6 here with the file that you provided.

Just to make sure - how are you determining that no lines are getting in?
Could you please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and post the result here?

I imported your dwg into V6 here, it comes in with a bunch of stuff. Four layers are locked.

If I do a SelAll I get:

1 block instance, 86 curves, 1 mesh, 51 texts added to selection.

If I unlock the 4 layers and do a SelAll, I get:

15 block instances, 2150 curves, 1 mesh, 51 texts added to selection.

What’s missing?

o’k i found it, sorry i zoom out way out and it was sitting up in the corner of the db, thanks.
is there a good reference on how to set the menu before importing.
