Rhino 5 won’t open a vectorworks .vwx file I’ve downloaded.
The source is:

The zip file contains the .vwx file and nothing else.
Why they used an obscure proprietary format for a public distro is beyond me.
Anyway, that’s all that is available.
Any hope?

Yep trial version is the best route. You get 30 days and then can export it to dwg. That is at least the format I use going from VW to Rhino.
Ok, well if the trial version allows a dwg export, that’s looking good for this once-off need.
