Imported Model looks like vertex painted

Check this screen grab from an imported model, an obj. It looks like it was painted. Never seen this before. Is there a way in Rhino to get rid of this? I looked all thru the material settings and nothing is attached. It is not a block either. Thanks.

If you can’t see it, the surface is speckled.

Hi @intuitionusa,

you could try if _UnifyMeshNormals fixes it. If yes, the normals where just randomly flipped in your mesh. If no, try _RebuildMesh. If the latter fixes it, your mesh had vertex colors.
