Unable to import an IFC file from rhino 8 visual arq3 on the PLEIADES thermal software from Izuba it says “incorrect file format”, do you have a solution?
Hi @Henry_Boutet_de_Monv, is this message appearing in the Pleiades thermal software? in that case you should contact their technical support team. Can you open that IFC file in other software?

Bonjour,
Dans votre IFC, il n’y a ni batiment (IFCBuilding) ni étage ((IFCBuildingStorey).
On ne peut donc pas importer dans Pleiades.
C’est lié à la config de l’export de ce BIM.

Hi Henry,
Try to create a Building in your model (with the VisualARQ’s Level Manager vaLevels ) before exporting it to IFC. That way a building and a level will be generated, if these are the requirements for Pleiades to open the IFC file properly.

in addition when i save in ifc format an i reopen in rhino i have the same bug with roof
flat edge become vertical
Hi @Henry_Boutet_de_Monv it looks like VisualARQ is not exporting or importing the roof edge cut through IFC files. I’ll report that and get back to you when we fix it.
