It seems Rhino SR24 crashes when using Import Content component in Grasshopper, picking any DWG file and pressing/initiating the import.
Hi Tuomas,
Can you run SystemInfo and post the result.
I can’t repeat in 8.25.25287.15431. Does this happen if you start Rhino 8 in Safe Mode as well? (sans 3rd party plugins)
Here is the SystemInfo:

Yes, it happens with Safe Mode too. I pretty much enabled all the plugins in Safe Mode whenever it asked for it. But also if I only enable the native plugins, it crashes.
I rolled back to 8.24 and seeing the same thing. Going to test the latest again before making any recommendations.
Sending you a link to rhino_en-us_8.25.25293.17001 en, which is working as expected in this regard.
Same issue, dwg import in large usage. Could please provide link to SR20 or to rhino_en-us_8.25.25293.17001 en?
Yeap same issue. Any idea when fix is coming?
@jhs , @Armandillo
Based on what Japhy wrote, the current public Service Release Candidate should work for you:
-wim
Thanks for the info @wim ! It is available from Rhino 8 app as release candidate. I prefer to use official releases
So back to SR20 if installation package is available ![]()
