Import 3DM Component Crash

Since the last update in Rhino 8, when I try to import a .dxf file using import 3DM, it just crashes. Anybody else with this problem?

Is issue is fixed in the public release candidate for Rhino 8.25.
You can change your update frequency to automatically get to download a current version.

Rhino 8 and WIP has a better importer in Grasshopper. It brings in the geometry and all the properties of the model. It will import any format Rhino imports:

This also then can be run thru filters: Rhino - Grouping and Filtering Data

Thanks for the tip! I’ll give it a try. My current workflow is importing all .dxf files from a folder, reorient them, give each one general dimensions and nest them into sheets. If this new importer is even quicker than import 3dm, it’ll be a big help!
