Hi, I’m currently using rhino on macbook and I ran into a problem. After I export rhino drawings to illustrator, the diameter symbol turned into √ò, and the degree symbol turned into ¬∞. Is there a way to fix this without changing it manually on illustrator?

Another thing to check is that the font is not being substituted in Illustrator. Most fonts should be usable regardless of the application; however, there still might be a few that are not. I would not expect this to happen as long as you are using both apps on the same system, but it would be good…

Here’s something to try that @nathanletwory suggested in another thread.

You would need to save the file to a PDF

LibreOffice (open source) has a couple versions for MacOS.
