IFC Export from Rhino 7

I am having trouble exporting my file from Rhino 7 to IFC format. When I look online it seems like IFC format is supposed to be an option when pressing either “save as” or “export” via “file. However; this option doesn’t even show up in my Rhino 7. So how do I convert my file to IFC format?

Hi -

I’m afraid that information is wrong. Rhino doesn’t export to IFC. There are, however, a few plug-ins that do that…

It’s possible to export export IFC4 from Rhino using BEAM.

Is IFC4 export available only through PRO version, or does it also exist with LITE?

The IFC4 Export is available with the LITE with the limit of 10 objects per export.
