If shrinkwrap is run without preview checked, it fails

When I run shrinkwrap without preview checked (on a cube), it fails - “shrinkwrap failed to generate a mesh”. If I check the preview box, it succeeds on that object and subsequent attempts to use shrinkwrap on that object succeed regardless of whether preview is checked or not.

If a new object is created, shrinkwrap fails until it is run with the preview box checked.

Can you please run the SystemInfo command and paste the results in so we know what version you’re using and can offer more help.

Added to original post.

I’ve been trying really hard to repeat what you’re seeing and so far I cannot. Do you have a basic file you can attach so that I can try to replicate your units, sizes, etc.

Shrinkwrap bug.3dm (706.6 KB)

Hmm, unfortunately I still can’t repeat what you’re experiencing. Now that SR9 is out have you tried updating to see if the problem persists?

Looks like that fixes it. Thanks.
