Icosaeder grasshopper tutorial

I am following a icosahedron grasshopper tutorial on youtube from 7 years ago..
i use rhino 8,
its this one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4K3sCBCdyg

i am a complete beginner and maybe i overdid it but i wanted to for one time finish something i start in grasshopper so i’m here…

when i want to orient the surface it just orients it in some direction that is not the same as in the tutorial

even at the beginnings when i use the “List Item” …”Node”? ( sorry i dont know the correct terms yet) in the tutorial he puts 3 as the Integer,.. but for me to get the same segment of the pentagon to be selected i need to put in two? maybe theres some issue here?

i will just follow the tutorial to the end maybe i manage to make it work later on..

thanks for the help in advance
cheers,
paul

Rhino has a plugin called Polyhedron. You can find it in the package manager. It is useful to create all kinds of shapes.

I’m usually not pro-plug-in and as a beginner you learn more if you build it from scratch once…
