I would like to analyze this skyscraper, with different elements and sections, but I can't get them to work together

I’m trying to study the static behavior of this tower, but I don’t understand why the displacement stays so high. I am not sure if I have connected the elements correctly, yet it seems so. Can you help me, is it urgent?

Hi,

it seems that part of your columns are not attached in your model. The connected parts component shows multiple branches which means there are issues here with these elements.

However, I didn’t quite understand how to narrow down the range of IPE sections, in the floor. And if possibility to make the core more rigid. How could I proceed ?

Hi, there are multiple ways you can do this:

Using the SplitList component to extract for example the first 50 cross sections (ie smallest)
Using the SplitList with reverse list to extract the last 50 (ie largest)
Use the maxW or maxH to limit the maximum dimensions of the cross sections
