Hello. Good luck. I’m starting to learn Rhino and am trying to learn by watching a few videos. While working on a project, solid intersection isn’t working. I’d appreciate any help.
Are you sure the tree structure matches?

I’m not using pufferfish so I’m not sure if my definition is correct.
I will never understand the benefit of using custom components such as ‘Move To Point’ which I’m pretty convinced doesn’t do anything other than ‘Orient’… Bounding rectangle is a similar thing, there’s ‘Plane Through Shape’ but ok, let’s try.
Looking at your screenshot, you should be able to see the problem yourself. The miter cutting surfaces you created by extruding lines are just pairs of surfaces, while these should be closed breps.
There are a few ways to create closed breps from two surfaces. You could loft the edges and join or create a bounding box and split and cap and get the largest of the three resulting breps.
