I built a drill trainer for Rhino keyboard — 233 Rhino + Grasshopper

I spend a lot of time in Rhino and got tired of watching myself reach for the mouse for things I knew had a key. So I built CmdEnter — a web app that drills keyboard shortcuts the way a flashcard app drills vocabulary: it shows you a situation (“you want to hide selected objects mid-command”), you hit the actual keys, it tells you if you’re right, and you graduate the deck when you can run it cold.

The Rhino deck is 121 moves across 7 levels, curated down from the full command list to the ones that actually change how fast you model — each with a one-line WHY so it’s not rote. There’s a separate 112-move Grasshopper deck. Level 1 of both is free in the browser, no account needed, so you can judge it in about two minutes. The full decks are behind a Pro plan — pricing is on the site, and I’d rather this thread be about the decks than the plans.

I curated these myself, which means they carry my blind spots. If you see a move that’s wrong, missing, or not worth drilling, say so — I ship corrections weekly and I’d rather be fixed here than quietly wrong.

I have a handful of Pro codes for this thread. If you point out a shortcut I got wrong, missed, or shouldn’t be drilling, I’ll DM you one — that’s the most useful payment I can get right now. Mechanics, plainly: the code opens a 5-day full unlock that rolls into a monthly Pro subscription if you keep it; cancel inside the 5 days and you pay nothing.

Link: cmdenter.app/decks/rhino?ref=mcneel — deck runs levels 1–7, roughly: navigation/selection → transforms → mid-command modifiers → display modes → advanced. Grasshopper deck linked from there.

Thanks for moving this into the right category, @martinsiegrist— still finding my way around the forum. Appreciate it.
