How to use RIR Add Aligned Dimension?

Hi All,

Can anyone guide me how to use RIR add aligned dimension??

I understand the input V and L, which is the view and line on how much to stretch.

I am stuck at R, which is labelled as References.

In my case i wish to snap to control point (annotation) made as a family

I have tried Element Geometry which only return a sphere in Grasshopper

@jia.yeap you can check the following link in this regard. In case of families it’s recommended to use predefined planes and use them as references for dimensions.

@afshin_shafa you need list of references to create a dimesnion.

I’m creating the rectangle and circle with GH
