How to use kangaroo to simulate minimal surface that is similar to a box trimmed helicoid?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to use kangaroo to simulate a minimal surface that is similar to a box trimmed helicoid surface, but I am struggling to convert the trimmed helicoid surface to mesh. Does anyone have some suggestion?

Many thanks.

What is it that you want to simulate? A helicoid (and therefore any trimmed portion of it) is already a minimal surface, so relaxing it shouldn’t change its shape.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for my English. I basically want to carry on my last topic’s discussion.

I think I need to re-construct a bit the question. If we have a trimmed minimal surface costa surface ( / helicoid ) that is brep created by maths function, does it has another way by building a mesh model via kangaroo relaxation to achieve the result closely enough to this minimal surface ( costa surface / helicoid ) ?
