How to toggle on "Through" option in Place Hole command in Rhino 5.0

I just recently upgraded to Rhino 5.0 and started to use the Place Hole command. Looks like the command has been enhanced a bit. I am not seeing any “Through” option, only “Depth”. How do I toggle the “Through” option on?

Hi Chuck- It’ seems to depend upon the shape of the target object - more heavily curved targets are less likely to offer ‘Through’ I’m not sure why - I’m sure it was discussed but I cannot remember off hand, what should happen here, let’s ask @rajaa…

Thanks Pascal. This would seem fairly straightforward. I used to be able to execute this command in 4.0 on this part.

Chuck,
You can press “Enter” to cut through. It might not be obvious, but it is stated in the prompt in the command-line. Let me know if it is still not working.

Thanks Rajaa, I was able to sort this out by just using the Make Hole command as opposed to the Place Hole command. BTW 5.0 is really nice!

Hi Rajaa, Chuck - whether or not you see ‘Through’ seems to depend upon the target being closed. Which makes sense.
