that will naturally not work, you either will have to shrink/increase the entire diameter to fit the amount of parts you need, or you shrink/increase the size of the parts till they do not distort.
that is usually also solved in an iterative process with grasshopper for instance.
maybe @rajaa can say more.

After watching other tutorial of Rajaa Issa. She explain that if Only click 2 direction instead of 3. They will keep model rigid.
