Any ideas on how to rotate the line onto the cylinder surface?
Rotation doesn’t change the shape of geometry (or even the size). Seems that what you’re after is a deformation. Setting up custom deformations is very difficult, but I think in this case you can use the Sporph component: sporph.gh (14.2 KB)
Thanks! That helped, but it wasn’t exactly precise. The top projected lines are getting some weird valleys on the cylinder. I assume I’d have to see if there’s some other approach to this problem.
