How to model this volume - VR Gravity Sketch to Rhino

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to improve my modelling skills and got stuck trying to solve the following problem:
Using VR and Gravity Sketch I built the left volume and would like to construct this in Rhino (but actually symmetrical)
I somewhat managed to model these curves but couldn’t find out how to proceed further. Is there maybe a better way to model this and/or similar shapes?
Would greatly appreciate any help!!!

you can copy your curves 2x and split them in different places to make the two intersecting forms,(side to side, then again but up and down) then pipe trim and blend the edges to get this-

Fwiw, the curves are pretty rough , and would benefit for a rebuild with some car taken to their point count and curvature.

more specifically, this can be built with two overbuilt surfaces, then trimming them back and filleting the edges-

Yes, thank you, this would be the optimal worksflow to continue! I have a Rhino 7 license and wasn’t able to open your file and retrace the process, how would I go about creating the overbuilt surfaces? Sweep probably? Would you mind converting to Rhino 7? :grimacing: :slightly_smiling_face:

You’d simply need to extrude two curves.

I used loft to find the form and then extended the surfaces to intersect each other. Split both then , joined and filleted the edge.—Mark

sure thing, attached below.

I highly recommend you watch this series-
it’s the best video series you can watch to dramatically improve your modeling-
