How to make V7 the default Rhino?

Trying a Test command mentioned in this thread

It strangely shows the WIP as the default. How can it be changed [back] to V7?

thanks a lot

I think the most recently installed Rhino is selected by macOS as the default tool.

If you go into Finder, select a 3dm file, and right -mouse click on it.
Choose Open With →
The default app will be shown on the top of the list, and the other supporting apps will be shown below.

There may be some way to change this file association, but I’m not that good with Mac Terminal stuff.

thanks @John_Brock so it’s not a Rhino Specific issue,
So I looked it up and it’s like that

  1. Right-click on a file that you want to change the app for and select Get Info .
  2. Click Open With if the section isn’t already expanded.
  3. Now click the dropdown and choose an app you want to open the file in by default.
  4. Click Change All & Continue when the Finder asks you if you’re sure.

thanks a lot
