How to join these curves

I am working in Rhino 7. Trying to make a heart following D. Buscaglia’s instructions but I am unable to get a closed curve. Here is my file.

The end points are not coincident, hence your curve is open.

Yes, pretty much.

Select one of the two control points and move it to the other one.
