How to import Tekla référence model into Rhino with grasshopper

Hi,
How to import Tekla référence model into Rhino with grasshopper to get géometry and attributs ?

BR

Instead of using grasshopper, you can import reference model directly to Rhino.
Reference model is not part of Tekla native objects.

Hi,

There’s no API method to get the geometry from reference models, hence it’s not possible from the GH-Tekla link. As Sajesh suggests, you can import the reference model directly to Rhino (might require some plugin depending on the format).

For attributes you can read them with the Get Property component. Prefix them with “EXTERNAL.” as you normally would:

Sajesh How can i import IFC file into Rhino ?

Sebastian Thx for the attributs solution

Is it possible to get all UDAS of the référence model ?

For inserting IFC, you need a third party extension. Otherwise you can open IFC in sketchup and save as .skp file. This sketchup file you can open in rhino without any issues.

I’m afraid not, you’d need to use their names in a list. Tekla considers those attributes report properties and we can’t read them all at once the same way as we can with UDAs.

Thank you
