How to hide coplanar seam edges in Display Mode without joining objects?

I have two separate coplanar surfaces/solids in Rhino that touch each other perfectly in the same plane.
In my custom display mode Rhino still shows the edge/seam line between them, but I would like them to appear visually as one continuous surface in the viewport.

Is it possible to hide these intersection/seam edges in Display Mode settings without boolean unioning or merging the objects into one polysurface?

I still want visible outer edges/silhouettes — just not the internal coplanar seam lines.

Which Display Mode settings control this?

Hi N+P, This would be a case for make 2d and manual line removal. In the Rhino display environment manually removing/hiding edges, or partial edges in a view isn’t possible.

I’ve added a feature request to see what can be done.

Thanks for the reply – that would be really great if that feature could make it into a future update.
