The Column , the structual frame or the wall is construct by a line intially.Some types are basic on point.So there is any way to get the element intial geometry through their pameters rather than transfer them into Grasshopper geometry and using a Grasshopper ways?
I’m not exactly sure what you mean, but maybe you are looking for Element Curve, or Element Location.
They are somewhat similar. If I want to draw a column in Revit, I should use Column command to draw a line. The center line of the column decides the location of the column.So I want to get the center line in Grasshopper.I think all elements are constructed by this way,so I can get this location geometry directly rather than more operation in Grassshopper.Sorry for my poor English and thanks for your help
