How to get rid of Flamingo nXt at top of my screen?

#1

I have deleted every Flamingo file that I could find in Program Files, App Data, etc.and I have unchecked Flamingo in the Plugins folder but I still have, at the top of my screen, Flamingo nXt 5.0 (on the bar that begins with File)

Anyway that I can get rid of it?

And, while I’m at it, I’d like to register an often heard complaint about programs that distribute files all over your computer that remain after uninstall. I’m not suggesting that Flamingo is unusually bad in this regard but I just spent time searching down the files for 3 different programs that I’m getting of rid of and I’m wearied of finding yet another folder buried somewhere that remained after Uninstall.

End rant

That menu is from the Flamingo nXt 5.0 rui file. Run the Toolbar command and you can right click and close that rui file. If you select it first you’ll also see the local address in the dialog window too which you could copy and paste into a file browser in order to delete it permanently. It won’t show up on restart though if you just close the rui.
