How to get my tool pallet back

So I just installed the newest update on Rhino 8, opened the program and created a new file and this happened. The tool pallet on the left side vanished. Can anyone assist me in getting it back?
Thanks,

Click the little door-like icon in the extreme lower left corner of the window?

Hi -

Out-of-the-box, the OSnap container is docked on the left. You can bring that back by running the Containers command and checking OSnap in the left-hand column. You could also use the WindowLayout command and restore the default. That will remove your customization of the right sidebar, though.

FWIW, if that were the issue, you’d still see the icons of the panels that are in the collapsed container.

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies. I managed to get the toolbar back by selecting the “main” option under the show toolbars pull down window. Now I just need to get the type “command” box back. Anyone know how to do this? It’s not offered Screenshot 2024-06-13 at 12.39.44 PM

Hi -

What happens when you toggle the Use command options dialog setting on the General page of the Rhino Options?

lol. This has been a bug since the beginning of time, or at least V4 or V5.

Looks like you got lucky that they didn’t all disappear. Maybe cause some were docked.

Yes ancient bug got necroposted. Doing some tool pallet work today, and some research. :beers:
