How to extend a solid to a surface

I have created multiple columns and a boundary plane. Can I extend each column or a
extend solid to surface.3dm (476.8 KB)
selected group of columns to the plane?
Thanks

There is no extend command for polysurfaces.

However, you can select the top faces of the steel profiles by pressing CTRL + SHIFT and either clicking each surface or window select all four surfaces in the front view from upper left to lower right.

Then either press ctrl and drag the green arrow to move the origin of the gumball to your green plane and scale the surb surfaces with the green handle and a factor of 0.

You can also scale first and move the sub surfaces upwards.

Hi Ken - SetPt in Z only will also get you there with the top faces selected - snap to any location on the green plane. ExtrudeSrf > To Boundary will do it as well but you’ll get an unnecessary seam in the polysurface at the original location.
