Looking for the best way to draw domed perforated mesh
4.8mm holes, 6.4mm stagger , 1.6mm sheet
I have draw the mesh curves and dome surface.

What are you planning on doing with the geometry?
Do you need perforation just on the dome or also around it on the horizontal part?
For now am just going to slice the mesh dome up, but other project I maybe want deform it more or drape the mesh over more uniform shapes.

The quickest way is to subdivide a truncated icosahedron. But this results in pentagons and hexagons.
A projected hexagonal grid is another option. The projection can be altered so the size of the cells is more uniform.
